what bay area dispensaries allow patients to medicate on-site? i went to SPARC for the first time this past week and saw that they provide vaporizers and allow patients to medicate there. this was the first time i had seen this and i was wondering how common it was? i recently moved here from los angeles and none of the dispensaries down there offer this sort of thing.

    The Vapor Room also has several volcanoes and a cool lounge area that you may like (more cozy than SPARC's). Bernal Heights Dispensary has a smoking lounge, though I have not been yet. HopeNet has a small lounge-ish area that you can smoke in. Lastly, The Love Shack doesn't have a lounge, but there are bongs and you can smoke in their small space.

      Oh dude, have you been to The Hemp Center on Geary and 12th? They have a really spacious lounge that I think you would really dig.

        Berkeley Patients Group on San Pablo Ave has a sweet lounge!

          The Hemp Center is definitely the place to be for hanging out. It has a Volcano or two and a few bongs for use. There is a bar you cant sit at or you can chill out on one of the several couches they have. The Hemp Center is always playing a funny show or a sports game on their big screen TV.

            I know that the last time I was in Palliative in San Jose, and they were talking about having onsite consumption, but Im not sure if they are finished with construction yet.

              SPARC is dope - just went there. I also like BPG. I gotta say Hemp Center is kinda ghetto. It looks like your grandparents basement that hasn't been cleaned out in decades. Maybe I was there on a bad day, but it's not a place I'd want to chill.

                SPARC is one of the nicest I have ever been to. Love the feel of it and it is an awesome place. I found a lot more on budpubs, which you can google. Living in California now and found a few here that way. Hopefully they will be everywhere like bars are.

                  Well considering San Jose has adopted regulations prohibiting medicating on-site, at least in that city .......... it'll be a thing of the past.
