Trippy Stick aka IVapor

I am also a low on funds as well, I Went to Vapor Room got the carts, 300mg, I have hit it a number of times and I do feel a strong effect. It is a way better product than the Ivapor, the carts seem solid, on there website they have refillable ones have you used them? I got the omicron ones as well, I dont like how the carts make the device so long, it is not stealth anymore. i will need to use these ones up, I cant afford to not use them. Which concentrates to you recomend? I was going to do the snake method with some honeycomb. The atmos hits nice, what are ur thoughts

I have a good connect on honey oil, so that's what I use. As for filling it up, toothpick in hole, frosting tip in cart, and oil on spoon type thing. I lightly hit the spoon with the torch or lighter so I reduce the amount of heat to the cartridge, I'm not sure if its that's necessary. Sometimes some oil stays in the funnel so you have to use the lighter on the frosting tip and maybe the top of the cartridge. There's kind of a learning curve. I ruined one cartridge and some oil the first time I filled because I used the torch too much and it leaked all the time.

I was going to get some honey comb wax , and use the snake method with half a gram in each cart. I am calling atmos tomorrow to ask about there carts and see if they are good, I am hoping that there carts work well with refilling, makes for a better stealth, I will really enjoy the atmos with my own medication.

I'm not sure if you will be able to pure hash oil in the cartridges atmos gave you. I've heard of only a few people getting that to work, I think theres a hash glycerin tincture formula they use for the cartridges, i think you either have to use pre filled atmos or fill your own omicron for now.

Hey All! I just came back from Hollywood the other week and they have this new vaporizer called the Vapor+ at the Sunset Super Shop. I was gonna get the ivapor until they told me that this other one has a locking mechanism. I guess ivapor doesnt have that. I grabbed one of there flyers and checked out the website on my iphone and I have to say that this brand seem pretty legit. I've been researching all of the vaporizers and can't get any info let alone a website for any of these products. The price seems cool at $80 and they even had a two pack value deal with a five pack of regular ecig cartridges! I got a pack of the cigarette high! So I ordered the value pack which came out to $150 plus shipping. I also heard that their cartridges fit ivapors! I am now a fan of these pens. It definitely will not make me switch from smoking blunts but I have to say that smoking on this thing during the day at work is a potheads dream. All the high with none of that smell! I love it. Like someone else said, those are just cheap e cigs, check out omicron or atmos, atmos is half the price and uses the same carts. Atmos has pre filled carts I think they're anywhere from $ 30-50.

yep i bought a pen at the dispensary and then i just bought the value pack on the website, better value to get it online. the carts were $40 each. very very effective i have to say. dave the omicron and atmos are ok but too big. to each his own though. i like how my vapor+ looks like a little stainless steel pen.

Im not positive on this, but atmos has a smaller version called the stratus, I'm pretty sure it has the same threading, but you should contact the company to make sure. So if thats your deal with them being too big, those are smaller, even though my atmos is smaller than a bic lighter without the cartridge. As for aesthetic appeal, atmos has a few pages of personalized reusable skins for the battery, I think it's for the battery at least, don't see how or why it would be for the cartridge. They also have cases, snap on cases, tons of accessories, somebody did a good job with that website and all available acessories.

I was looking into an omicron, but $50 for 5 single usage carts seems a bit pricey. Any omicron buffs out there know of carts I can refill?

The Omicron carts are worth the money. The Omicron is the most economic way to medicate that I know of. I'm already saving $100-150/mo (previously spending about $300/mo) and I buy top end concentrates, you can find them for half what I pay.

They advertise the cartridges to be one-time fills, but that's so people don't complain if they re-fill them and the cartridge dies halfway through the re-fill. I've re-filled cartridges with no problem, it works fine. I've yet to have a cartridge actually die, but I rotate between a few. The thing is, even if the cartridge dies, you can reclaim the concentrate by heating up the cartridge. It's broken anyway, no worries making it leak. Then just add the reclaimed concentrate to another cartridge. Minimal losses.

I actually loaded up a dud cartridge before testing it one time. I loaded it with a $50 concentrate, 83% THC Chem Dawg Wax, so I freaked out for a second thinking I wasted like $60. When I calmed down, I was able to easily extract all the wax and funnel it into a new, working cartridge. It wasn't an issue at all. If I had been smart enough to test the cartridge first, it wouldn't be all burned and filled with essence of concentrate, and I could have mailed it back for a replacement. Live and learn lol.

Long story short: The cartridges are re-fillable, at your discretion. This product is very cost-effective, and will likely save you money if you use it instead of other means of medicating.

But you see the problem with all this is, i'm no longer situated on the west coast, meaning the oils are much harder to come by now. What you consider a minimal loss is much bigger to me. If its not too much of a problem, do you think you'd be able to email or post your filling steps&tools? (the tutorials on youtube tend to be a bit vague)

The omicron cartridges are good, but the batteries are expensive. The atmos is pretty much the same thing for half the price. I have had a cartridge yet to die, but some have started leaking, and once it does, it's really hard to make it stop leaking, unless anyone has any suggestions. These cartridges are a cool way to smoke concentrates, but it's as simple as some people are claiming. I'm pretty careful with my stuff and have leaking problems, sometimes even with wax. Sometimes the wax doesn't get hot enough to produce good hits until the cartridge is hot, that sometimes causes leaking. I am looking forward to these new cartridges, I will be one of the first to try once they are available.

If you want to self-fill, Omicron is the ticket. Pre-filled cartridges, unless the Omicron, are all glycerin-based as well, which is just nasty imo.

I'm thinking that if you don't live near easy-access cannabis, Omicron is your best bet, as long as you have some means to make or access concentrates. Any other vapor pen will be hard to get cartridges for anyway in your case, I'd think. That's just my assumption though. If I was in your situation, I'd choose the Omicron, then visit an area that has easy access to high quality concentrates and stock up.

Hmm, filling steps.. I used a guide on another forum, f***combustion.com's site. It's around page 8 on the Omicron post by a guy named Daelic. All credit goes to him, he setup the pictures and instructions. Lemme post some of his links:

I prefer wax or putty concentrates, which I just use a dental pick to scrape into the frosting tip, then melt into the cartridge. Super, SUPER easy. I also added another step to his process: I keep a wet cloth around the bottom of the cartridge. In the case I mess up and heat the cartridge too much, this allows the heat to dissipate and saves me from creating a leak. When I'm done loading, I give the outside of the cartridge a quick rub-down (careful not to get water on the bottom or top, I don't know what that'd do lol) to cool it off.

And yes, this thing can be POTENT, depending on your concentrates. I've passed my Omicron around a table to watch 4 people each take 1 puff and call it quits haha. Light-weights, but still!

In a sense I am lol, but only because I think it's so awesome. If I didn't know about the Omicron, I'd want someone to tell me. I'm just trying to get the good word out. I really want this company to succeed and make more products, I think they are innovative and at least one step ahead of their competition. I haven't smoked since I got this thing, it's all Omicron and my Extreme Q.

Anyone who claims this thing is something to pass around in a circle with friends... That's bullshit, unless you are extreme in advocating your friends how to be careful not to hit to hard, or when to press/ stop pressing and other things. I have ruined cartridges just on taking the chance and letting friends hit it, they try and hit it like a joint or pipe, they try to get as much as possible in a short time, that gets oil in the air hole and clogs it and probably cause leakage. Anyone can agree these cartridges take at least a day learning curve to get down how to prime well and get good consistent hits. I have also had cartridges sometimes not milk up as much after a few good hits when the cart is hot to the touch. If you get frustrated about not getting good hits and continue trying you will end up causing it to leak. Once it leaks, I've never really been able to stop it, maybe prolong it, but i think it pretty much renders the cartridge ineffective. This is a personal device if you want to save your oil.

we passed the omicron around at the bridge benefit for 2 days straight with no issues. I used to think you couldn't recover from leaking cart but I've proved its possible. my leaking issues at first were all related to not hitting hard enough, not too soft. go figure. Paper clip and iso can clean up the big messes and then its hitting technique to get it cleared. I've now with the help of dubCRider been able to fix 3 carts I thought were hopeless and can have repeated the process by myseld. I will say I lost a fair amount of concentrate learning to use this thing. much more than everyone else around me but I still love this thing and dont have any of these issues anymore neither have anyone else I have let try it. Everyone who uses it is dumbfounded by how good it works. Its really no comparison to the ivapor IMO from having used both.

I own " in order of purchase" The Trippy Stick IVaporrx Omicron AtmosRX and You are right there is a learning curve to any Vaporizer. Patience is key...its like with women, go slow bro. Now the problem you describe can easily be fixed by wipeing the leak up or useing better BHO oil not the runny stuff. Prime the Omicron for 8 seconds because after 9 the light blinks and the unit shuts off. but if you hit the button in 8 second pulses it will contiguously heat up. I find I only need to do a 2 pulse prime before I get satisfying vapor and thats only if I draw on it slowly, softly, and not like Im trying to suck a milk shake through it. Now I did love how the gsc, and sd carts for the IVaporrx originally hit but that is much different than Omicron. Passing around the Omicron to people who havent used it is kind of a hassle but be the teacher and in time if you dont have friends with learning disabilities it will flow like H2o.

omicron has some great customer service. I email support@thcscientific.com and less 2 days later (in was the weekend) they emailed me asking to talk on the phone. They gave me the number of the local rep. I explained my issue (leaking oil and overheating, minimal clouds) and he scheduled at time to COME TO MY HOUSE to work with me. He drove from san francisco to san jose. He checked out my set up, tested it and even let us hit his vape pens with various strains like pure gold and earwax.

my issue was using an iso oil. It wasn't vaporising right because of the type which is why it way overheating and leaking. He even swapped out our damaged carts. Can't beat the customer service and once there was a cart filled with the right kind of concentrates my battery worked fine.

The light blinks to protect the circuit. Mine can do 8 second pulses and at nine it starts to blink. So just do 8 sec. pulses and it will continuously heat up.

I don't think the joyeTech was designed for hash, but the trippy stix was and it works great. I love my volcano, but its not portable, and being able to medicate easily and discreetly on the go has changed my life. So until Storz and Bickel make a vape pen, I'm sticking to the trippy stix.

Wow!!!! I really wish I read this thread before purchasing ivape. While listening to a recommendation, myself and 4 friends jumped in and bought the vape. UGH!!! My friend got the recommendation while he was in LA. Evidently the seller did not fully disclose the details of the item. Especially, how to use it. Hash oil is not readily available in my area. I don't live near dispensaries. I'm sure if he would hv explained the need for hash oil the mistake would not hv been made. The bright side is we only paid 55 for them including shipping. But now I have equipment I can't use. I see the Atmos has a dry goods adapter for about $100.00. Would that adapter work for the Ivape? I remember reading that the threading for the cartridges of the atmos and ivape were a match. If this is true wouldn't the adapter be a match as well. Myself and my friends would greatly appreciate your input.
