First off, keep in mind that cannabis effects people differently, so it's best to start with a small dosage and see how things go with time. Typically, sativa strains are considered a stimulant and indica strains are considered a depressant. With that in mind, it will be sativa strains that are more likely to cause anxiety. But, not all sativas will do this. Again, it's different for everyone, but I love sativas, and I do find some sativa strains give me anxiety, but not all. With most sativas, I'm able to medicate with most comfortably. If you are looking for a daytime medicine that won't knock you out, but are concerned about anxiety, try a lower strength sativa. Or consider a sativa-dominant hybrid. Hope that helps!
