i went into a club last week and asked to see the top indica strains. out of the jars she offered, i chose the OG Kush. now i see the same strain marked as a sativa at a different club. so, can one strain be both types? i don't understand how this is possible, besides human error or marketing ploy. if anyone has the answer, i would really like to know. thanks

There is a lot of guesswork and myth when it comes to categorizing hybrid types. I have seen Blue Dream listed as Indica, as Sativa and as a hybrid. The best info I have is that BD is 80% indica and 20% sativa, but I could be misled. Trust your tastebudz and your head.

og kush is supposed to be a sativa dominant hybrid with heavy indica effects. its a good mix of both for me, a nice cerebral high along with the power that indicas punch

that makes a lot of sense. thanks for your input, it might not ever have dawned on me the idea of a hybrid. yeah the og kush was some great smoke, helped with my back pain the way a strong indica should, but allowed me to be active not sos. obviously a sativa trait.
