Dispensary Review:

MC Caregivers

A great upscale dispensary!

I have been going to this dispensary for about one year now. The dispensary is located in an office building that's clean and upscale. In fact, it looks like you're entering a chiropractors office as they have another room with two massage chairs, aromatherapy, and meditation room. They offer easy parking and accessibility. The staff is exceptionally cordial, helpful and trained in medical marijuana and the different strains. All the budtenders are patient and well-informed with newcomers. I especially enjoy working with Dianne who is a real sweetheart. They have a wide variety of strains (sativa, indica and hybrids) as well as edibles, oils, salves, tinctures, accessories and the prices are fair. They teach great classes on a variety of topics that I've taken. Right now, I can't find a negative to say - except, I wish that had more "specials" on their high-end strains (which they do on occasion). If I was looking for a dispensary, I'd visit this one first.

Mendo Purp good for what ailed me

This was a 60/40 strain of Indica/Sativa that really helped me to relax without making me couchlocked or out of it. It was the perfect strain for relaxing my tense muscles and making me drowsy for bed. I enjoy the strains that don't cause me to "zone out" and yet give me a sense of peace/euphoria that I need before bedtime.

Dispensary Review:

Cannabis Therapeutics

The Original - Strong Medicine

I believe Cannabis Therapeutics was one of the first dispensaries in Colorado Springs founded by one of the first medical marijuana patients legally registered in Colorado. It is an older dispensary but has a multitude of different marijuana strains and edibles. The security is tight, which I appreciate, and the budtenders are knowledgeable and nice when you enter the "inner sanctum." The prices for the medical cannabis are on a three-tier price level and are priced reasonably. I found the edibles and extracts to be a tad pricey but very potent. The owner spent a lot of time with my wife who was a total newbie to the marijuana scene as she was in pain, scared, and didn't know what to do. He walked her through the process and cared about her even though there were other customers present. They test all their alternative medicine for quality and potency. You won't be disappointed with this dispensary.

Chocolate Chunk

This was one of the first cannabis medicines I had ever taken and it was almost pure Indica. To say the least, this potent medicine took away my pain as well as my mental faculties. I definitely need some Sativia in my strains for a more well-balanced effect. This strain has a strong skunky smell but with a sweet/spicy chocolate or coffee-like undertaste. The "high" or effect lasted a long time and was a creeper. I enjoyed the taste and have learned not to take as many draws to experience the effect I am looking for.
