This is hands down my favorite lounge in the entire Bay Area. The people here are awesome, I volunteer on occasion and really think it's the most laid back, relaxed place to medicate on site in the Bay Area, sometimes there's music, sometimes there's games. The meds range, sometimes they have an amazing selection, sometimes it's only a few things. The meds are never bad, but at times their selection runs really low. Even still, I recommend a visit to this place, if for no other reason than the awesome edibles and hash bar, with great priced flights of various kinds of hash!

This dispensary, along with Grass Roots, really puts all the others in the city to shame. Both in terms of selection and pricing it is light years beyond most other dispensaries in the city. Their service is great too, with fine folk ready to give great recommendations, and be honest about their meds! I've never walked out of Div Tree feeling jipped, rushed or mistreated. In fact I often times walk out feeling like I was treated like royalty and I got a bargain!

Green Door gets a lot of online hype, though I can't for the life of me understand exactly why that is. The place is tiny, and looks not unlike a fast food joint, except there's bullet proof glass between you and the cash register. There is a menu on the wall, and you get shown pre weighed bags of medicine that you can open to smell. No display jars of any sort, and the service was terrible the 2 times I went it. I left with some decent medicine, but feeling very wrong and weird. I didn't enjoy the experience at all.

I went here expecting an awesome experience, as It was recommended by folks I'd hung out with. Turns out they'd just never been to any other dispensaries. The day I was there my friend and I helped the person working change some erroneously labeled strains into the right categories (sour d labeled indica, and headband pure sativa etc), and the meds didn't smell, look or feel right. Seemed like most things were very very dry. Wound up picking up some cheap Headband that wasn't very good. Overall I wouldn't go back probably.

East Bay Patients Association is home to the only outdoor lounge in the bay area I believe, which is great. Their selection however, and the fact that they are in richmond, and constantly going through hassles with the city council, makes it a rare stop. I get their email updates, and occasionally am impressed with the menu, so I'll go in to take a look. It's pretty 50/50 whether I walk out with something or not, but when they do have something nice it's usually fantastic(Tangerine Dream comes to mind) and at a great price,especially since they discount for quantity. Overall, this place has potential, but it rarely materializes into goodness. It's worth checking out though, and the outdoor lounge is worth seeing.

The service is super friendly here, and people are always willing to help out with info and advice. The meds speak for themselves, and given the high traffic rate the dispensary has the ability to change it's board almost entirely on a bi weekly basis. It's great to come in 3 days after your last visit and see an almost entirely new board. They often times have Mega Mixes (55-60 dollar strains for 40 bucks), and grab bag grams. They also have great deals on display jars, which are 2.2 grams on average and get discounted from the Gram price. Overall this is definitely the one dispensary I hit up if I only have time to go to one. They rarely dissapoint.

This dispensary is without a doubt the best one near Oaksterdam, and the only one worth checking out in downtown Oakland in fact. There is always a great selection, and the prices are awesome. They'll often have interesting rare strains ( Sour Dawg, Cheeziel) and just as often have a great bargain on a couple of strains. The service is always friendly, quick and informative. They also give discounts on purchases over 150 bucks, which is pretty sweet.

Great strain, great smell, great flavor. Goodness all around. Smooth hitting, burns right and lights great on paper or in a piece. Overall one of the tastiest strains you'll find at this place, if you're lucky! The looks are great, with very little leaf to bud ratio, and the price was awesome! I don't know what else to say about this strain other than it was delicious, and worked wonders for me!
