IM ONLY RATING THIS A THREE BECAUSE THIS SEEMS TO "PEDESTERIAN" FOR ME. SURE I GOT HIGH BUT IT WAS VERY MILD. THIS STRAIN MIGHT BE FOR BEGINNERS BECAUSE IT DIDNT HIT ME AS HARD AS I IMAGINED. NOT FAULT OF STAFF BECAUSE I PICKED THIS ONE BUT IF YOURE NEW TO MARIJUANA AND JUST WANT A SUPER CHILL AND MELLOW BUZZ BLUE DREAM IS FOR YOU! I NEED SOMETHING STRONGER.

TBH I ONLY PICKED THIS ONE UP BECAUSE OF THE NAME AND IM GLAD I DID. I SMOKED A BOWL OF THESE BEFORE THREE HOURS OF TV WATCHING AND BARELY MADE IT THROUGH THE LAAT HALF HOUR. I WAS SO SLEEPY, RELAXED, CHILLED AND STRESS FREE. HITS ON ALL CLYINDERS. MY PINCHING HEADACHE IS GONE NOW TOO. HAD ONE OF THE MOST EXCITING DREAMS OFF OF THIS STRAIN TOO LOL

IM ADDICTED TO THE TASTE AND SMELL OF GREEN LOVE POTION. IT HAS AN OVERWHELMING TASTE AND SMELL OF LAVENDER WHICH IS VERY CALMING. GOOD FOR MIDDL EVENING USE TO HELP RELAX ME AND IF I MEDICATE HEAVY ON GLP IT PUTS ME TO SLEEP. VERY GOOD STRAIN HERE AND ITS FUNCTIONAL. WOULS BUY AGAIN AS THE BUDS ARE BIG AND BEAUTIFUL GLAD MY BUDTENDER AT HERBAL RECOMMENDED THIS STRAIN.

Herbal Alternatives was at the National Cannabis Festival back in April educating the attendees on the benefits of medical marijuana and the process to obtain a medical marijuana card in DC for DC residents. Not only was staff on hand but patients of the dispensary to ask honest questions about the dispenary and joining the program. Talk about keepin' in 100!

It is now June and I have my card. Thank you to the team at Herbal Alternatives for guiding me through the easy process and following up with the DC DOH on my behalf in receiving my card in a reasonable time.

Now on to my review ---

What I liked about their location is it's convenient to my downtown office. It's actually
on the same block as one of my go to lunch spots; making it convenient to pop in to get my medicine.

The staff there is super friendly and nice! Very knowledable. There not there to sell you anything but to help alleviate whatever medical condition you may have.

I was told each month that there are atleast 2-4 strains that "go on sale" that's like $5-7 off the original shelf price! WINNER!!!

The budtender noticed my birthday is in July and told me that when I visit next month I get a "birthday gift" from them. I'm counting down to my birthday ---- love marijuana and love FREE!

I also like the fact they're only closed one day out of the week. So, six days of access makes it that much more convenient for me.

No cash on you? No problem. ATM on site with a VERY low withdrawal fee.

This is a really good hybrid. For me it started off very uplifting and after about a hour a very nice mild body high took over. Great for mid afternoon to evening use. The taste is smoky and hazy to me if that makes sense. Using it in a RAW pre-roll so I had to keep re-lighting.

Good clean citrus taste with a hint of lemon. My guess is it's a 60 indica/40 sativa

I haven't tried "true" GSC since the summer of 2015. And man when I saw this legendary strain on the menu I had to pick up some. The budtender opened the canister and let me smell this true beauty. I had to take two huge inhales to capture in all of that goodness.

GSC is very pungent in smell so keep it wrapped tight. The taste is everything I remember; sweet, pine and doesn't give you a coughing fit.

I got a quarter of GSC & had no big stems or seeds. Herbal Alternatives does a fabulous job in storing their marijuana.

Shared with the budtender my need for energy and motivation to complete physical therapy after a car accident back last year. Therapy can be grueling and some days I hate going. With that said after medicating with Acapulco Gold; an instant jolt of energy comes over me. The taste is very unique too. Very much like toffee and small hint of vanilla.

I find when I'm going through depression and being very anti-social; Acapulco Gold smacks me in the face and wipes all of that away. In fact, phone calls I have been ignoring have been returned. In a much better place now.

This strain is said to be legendary. Glad it's available as it holds up to its name. GOLD
