High Grade AlternativesHigh Grades for High Grade Alternatives
Down on Arapahoe in the building to the left of the KFC, this medicine shop offers one of the most diverse and effective selection in Boulder. With a large comfortable waiting room with books, magazines, info pamphlets and a TV there is a good amount of accompaniment for the sometimes long wait to go to the bud bar in back.
In back there are a couple large glass cases with sometimes 40+ different strains to smell, and look at under microscopes... staff is very knowledgeable and can accompany you in any search you're in for.
Also good Clones, edibles and other treats are in back, many times with great deals.
High Grade is worth the short drive for quality medicine.

The Greenest GreenGreenest Green on Pearl
Located down around 21st and 22nd on Pearl St. , the GG should be at the top of many patients list to check out in Boulder. They have a nice casual waiting room in front, with several magazines and on some days popcorn and other snacks and treats for those waiting... friendly desk and sign in process... the employees here and Brad (the owner) are great people through my experiances. The backroom/budroom is a nice relaxing atmosphere with a large up to date chalkboard menu, featuring an insane variety of different and extremely potent Sativas, Indicas, Hybrid, Hashes/Oils, Candies/Edibles, microwavable ganja meals, the works... even some great prices and deals on pipes and skillets!!! Become a regular here and make sure to get an 1/8th or 1/4 oz jar for a 10% discount on all bud purchases! Also check up on their facebook and twitter for realtime menu updates as well as questions when they are online! Great service and selection equal a great medicine shop.
Purple OG
Quite the treat, and an incredible bud, Purple OG will blow some of the most experienced patients away.
Intense dark, dense and sticky purple buds, these are ripe with trichomes and thick beautiful orange hairs. The dense buds break out extremely nice in a big grinder and the smell of delicious OG Kush and other powerful dark indicas is almost overpowering in a medium sized room... this bud is definitely one for the bud cellar... It has an incredible stoney feeling, but keeping wits about its still good for sitting around with friends or family and enjoying the day.
Weighing in at $23g/70e (tax included) this is one that takes quite the toll on the wallet, but be sure to bring in your GG jar for the 10% off which makes the $63 gone that much more purple and sweet. Perhaps my favorite rarity to come thru the GG in some time, this is one you must try out.

Boulder MedsBoulder Meds on the Hill
located above cosmos and next to the hookah bar and glass shop, this small little dispensary often has a very wide selection of buds, as well as hash, concentrates, and edibles at reasonable prices... most grams cost between $12-$16, not including tax. They keep an updated menu in the window outside below the open sign to let buyers get a glimpse of whats in stock and at what price, also if there any specials. You ring the doorbell to enter and are usually greeted with a smile at the front desk... after a small amount of paperwork you are either escorted straight to the strain room, or a waiting room featuring a nice HD tv, cannabis related magazines alongside mirrored glass on the outside for ensured privacy. The budtenders are nice and knowledgeable on the stock they have. Sativas to the left of the shelf, Indicas to the right, with other stuff scattered in between. Good selection and often some unique and delightful strains.... highly recommended for the price!
White Widow
Light green buds, not too many orange hairs but they exist... lots of nice frosty leaves in this batch it seems...
sweet smelling and potent, this is a great sativa alone, or mixed with another... great to be enjoyed several ways for its taste, and not as harsh and some sativas can be. Sits well in my jar, I think I will put a little away until my Widow plants are done, and compare whos is better :)
well trimmed and useful for many symptoms and conditions, for $15+tax, you cant be beat

sweet smelling indica, fat tight sticky green buds with lots of trichomes and a tasty aroma...
great stoney high, perfect for sleeping and lounging/relaxing on a hot summer day off.
Sweet nugs just like the candy, impress your other legal friends by letting them sample some of this great product
Perfect to smoke out of a waterpipe or vape for true exceptional taste and potency... can't go wrong for $13+tax a gram
White Russian
Sativa, $15g plus tax...
darker bud with lots of nice orange hairs, abundance of trichomes on tighter leaves... also cured and trimmed nicely.
the smell is not overly pungent and holds not many unique characteristics as other sativas can... not a superbly harsh smoke, maybe it wasnt flushed properly.
moderate high, got things done and didn't get incredible munchies, but some.. good daytime smoke for the price, but nothing amazing.
