This strain is mistakenly described as pure sativa, but this is a hybrid. Durban Poison crossed with Skunk #1. If you’re expecting a typical Durban high, you will be disappointed. If you are looking for a hybrid , you might like this. But it is definitely not what i was looking for based in the description.

Blue Dream was the first strain I ever tried a few years back as a late-bloomer to the wonders of this flower. I had an overwhelming full bodied experience, as friends can attest haha! I wasn't prepared for it then, but now the flower has bloomed anew and I approach it with a bit more experienced palate.
This blue dream announced its presence boldly with the unmistakable blue fruit perfume of her parent. I inhale and I am reminded again of blue dream's power. I am back on that full-throttled roller coaster, but this time I hold the reins and I'm firmly in the seat for this ride. First, there's a soaring euphoria but that very quickly spreads out into waves of warm, indica body buzz. Both within the head, but even more powerfully from the core. There's a distinct feeling of warmth and expansion from the chest going all the way out to the tips of your limbs. Waves of warmth and relaxation that somehow manage to invigorate you rather than sedate you. This is one I'd like to experience outdoors.
Pro-tip: This mixes beautifully with the Sunflower Blue (cbd: thc) from Abatin. It just magnifies and extends that body-warming pleasure.

There wasn't much in the way of fragrance or taste with this one, and buds were fluffy. I decided to give it a try. The effects were light, happy, and uplifting. It provided a nice little social buzz. Honestly, I'd like to try a different batch in the future. Definitely had better, but not really complaining. I'd try blending this with something that has a bit more body. I added some Purple Trainwreck to round this out a bit more.

Fantastically strong medicine. Powerful body buzz and warming, head uplift were felt immediately on the first hit. Paired with a fruity taste, this is a great strain to use at the end of a stressful workday.

Very strong scent of oranges and diesel/petroleum. Taste reminds of orange hard candies. Effects are head-focused and energizing, but the indica side of this does kick in later on. So you might want to have a cup of coffee later if smoking this during the day.

Honeydew has an absolutely delicious fragrance of unmistakable sweet, fresh, green melon. A sweet taste lingers on the tongue after smoking this. However, the highlight for me was the balance of mild cerebral uplift and a very sensual, warming, body buzz. Excellent for anxiety or stress, as muscle tension relaxes and your mind turns towards happy and creative thoughts. This herb definitely melts away social anxiety. Great before snuggle time with a loved one.

I'm was a fan of Tangie when I first started going to Takoma Wellness. It's a good, wake-up, morning strain. The aroma, true to it's name, is of tangerine and it has a nice, sweet, citrus flavor on the palate. In it's original form, it definitely brought out my creative side, and I found myself spending happy hours working on photography, and admiring visual details up-close.
That being said, a high CBD version of Tangie recently arrived at Takoma Wellness, about 20% THC , 12% CBD. After trying various high CBD strains, I'm finding that they may not be the best for my symptoms, as they tend to bring my mood down quite a bit. Not the best, for my depression. This version of Tangie left me with a slightly heavy feeling and a mild headache. Give this one a try though, as the high CBD will be great for certain patients.

Berry-O might be an ok introductory Sativa, as the effects seem to be very, very mild. Taste and aroma aren't really there with this one for me either. With so many choices now available at TWC, there are definitely better Sativas on offer. I've tried this strain on at least three different occasions and it just comes up short for me. I've tried this in tincture form, and it performs slightly better there. Just a little bit of an energy bump from this one.

What do peace and enlightenment taste like, you ask?
Like damp, honeyed, forest floor. dried berries, and wood-smoke drifting through the pines above your head.
That's all that you need to know about the first sensory experience of this masterwork from Abatin Wellness. Those sweet, earthy first puffs quickly expand to a golden, clear, head high that is blissfully absent of any anxiety/paranoia. This joyously meditative and enlightening smoke washed away my depression and anxiety. This one has some serious stamina, as once the warming body buzz rolled through my muscles and limbs, i stayed in this happy place for about 3 hours. Prepare for your senses to be enhanced with this one :) .
Suggested activities to accompany this fantastic herb: Meditation , Painting, anything creative for that matter, long walks, eating (food tasted glorious!), massage/snuggles/etc. :-) . If you struggle with depression, anxiety, managing stress, or creative/emotional blockages, this is stellar medicine to have on hand.

I think my favorite aspects of this strain are the fragrance and the taste. Upon opening the package, I'm immediately hit with the IPA-like scent of hoppy citrus, pine, and tropical passion fruit. That's a happy smell right there. Some of those same notes hit my palate on the first inhale. This time, more citrus zest. The taste alone was uplifting and put a smile on my face. I soon felt a warm relaxation grow from my core and radiate out my limbs, easing the tightness in my lower back considerably. I think this is a good afternoon strain, perhaps not the best for a workday as I found it a tad difficult to focus. This high CBD strain would be great for anyone suffering pain, stressful life-situations, or anxiety. A good one for the medicine cabinet. I won't say it's a personal favorite, as I prefer a bit more of a sativa high, but I think many would enjoy this zesty, green treat.

The effects of this latest batch of Blue Dream trim were immediate and surprisingly intense. Having smoked blue dream flowers just a few days ago, I can say that this trim (in my view) is somehow stronger. Perhaps these leaves had some extra bottom-of-the-jar kiefy goodness. I am enjoying this ride, and my anxiety and depression were obliterated by this. At $10 for gram, this is a no-brainer. The smoke itself was smooth and sweet. Really, a happy way to end a VERY long day.
This was also very nice when mixed with a bit of high-CBD Krypto. Thank you for the recommendation, Paula! I can feel the stress in my shoulders and back melting away LIKE-BUTTAH!
