A Curious Medication

In retrospect I find that this bud has all the concentrated strength of Northern Lights, plus the raw power of Skunk #1. You could say that what I've just mentioned is a base strongly affected and complimented by both the piercing and alert diesel cerebral effects, as well as the gentle relaxation of the lavender, creating a relaxed yet alert and happy headspace which is decently long lasting.

The stuff smells pretty pungent. It's a fairly fruity yet soft floral scent. The fruitiness of it is more on the plum or cherry end of the spectrum while the floral scent smacks of lavender. There is also a certain muskiness to these buds, yet all aspects are dominated and enhanced by a certain mouth-watering tangy fuel scent which I really love. In some ways the smell reminds me a little of Reeferman's Love Potion.

What starts out as a light body high gradually becomes more and more couchlock only as fast as you get that certain indica "heavy" feeling which can build up right behind your face in particular. Suddenly, around ten minutes in or so, in addition you'll begin to notice that you're getting a little clear and alert, quickly rising sort of head-tweak effect, cutting through the body-high effects, as it gradually cascades down into a relaxed yet decidedly "up" indica effect. This Gemstone could be called the cure for the common strain; a novel blend of genetics I've never seen before, nor may I ever again.

Despite what's been said, I have no doubt that Gemstone could make a person drowsy at higher doses at the comedown. It's a lazy happy feeling noticed only as fast as the cerebral stone begins to recede. I wouldn't smoke this one right before bed though.

Almost unsurprisingly I'm pleased once again with Medithrive all around. A high quality product and a great value; I also got a free gram of Grape Romulan, too, having ordered before 2pm. And that's better than a poke in the eye any day. No?

Flawless Victory

For me, this strain was everything an indica should be. The appearance was much like the picture in referring to a display of sheer crystal. The size of them was enormous. I got four 1g buds which I myself reweighed to confirm. The lid of the jar could barely close upon these things. Thick, thick, thick. They had real "bag appeal".

I can't recall the smell perfectly. I think it was spicy/skunk-berry with nice earthy undertones.

The texture was on point. They were cut just ripe enough for my pleasing. Perfectly flushed. Perfectly dried. Perfectly cured, with the right amount of moisture present. Top shelf bud. It's on the same level as some of the best cannabis I've ever had in my life when speaking in terms of how obviously well the batch was grown and prepared. Additionally, this NL x BKK just put out copious amounts of vapor for me into my vaporizer bags, one right after the other.

The effect of this medicine was really described sufficiently by Medithrive's staff. It's pretty much everything you like about Indica without that lazy, hash-drunk, burnt out, fuzzy feeling that comes on usually before sleep sets in. If you're a fan of indicas at all, and are still in the market to buy as you read this, then maybe you owe it to yourself to try NL #10 x BBK at least once, while you still can.

It's an indica. Don't expect a mind-bending spiritual experience to carry you soaring out of your depression. It's instead nicely sedative in providing a laid back, stony kind of body high. It might rock you to sleep if there wasn't a touch of head-high to keep you awake, but the rigors of science have shown that this factor can be overcome by smoking a larger dose if need be. At night I got to sleep fairly easily by doing just that. All of that put aside for a moment, the NL #10 influence found within this strain is not as strongly euphoric as the NL #5 I've had, but there is some of it in there adding it's own complexity to the sedative effects you'll be experiencing.

Free Jack Herer

What I mean by the title is that the Jack I received was a free sample; one coming to me with yet another more than satisfactory 4g "eighth" of Strawberry Cough I'd decided to (re-)order that night, after also trying their wonderfully Indica "NL #10 x BBK". That in mind, up until now I've enjoyed Medithrive's services enough to come here and tell you about them. I have not been disappointed once, not even with customer service, nor could I expect such a thing in any case. But the product review:

This medicine smells fairly strong. I haven't seen much stinkier JH for what it's worth. Lifting the opened jar to my nose, the immediate notes of tropical fruit masking light berry scents fill my nose, riding atop waves of candied spice, and skunky haze delight. A strain worthy of the name in all ways...

The texture when broken up is fairly spongy, moist, and sticky. It almost seems too moist still, and my grinder apparently has trouble breaking it up due to this fact. Given the additional fact that I'm vaporizing, then in terms of extremes, I actually prefer this to buying bone dry medicine, yet I would be surprised if a joint of this stuff is too wet to smoke by any means. Don't get me wrong. You'd just get more if it had less water weight is all.

This medicine tastes very citrusy all in all. Nice.

The effect is an immediately uplifting high - pretty euphoric - and also mentally stimulating with a light body high. Very good lower-end Top Shelf bud. The potency is up there hitting your head most of all, yet it's still almost functional despite being trippy. Good day-time smoke. I find myself almost smiley, wanting to start tapping my toes on the ground as I sit here from having all this energy. I find myself wanting to listen to uplifting music to enhance this vibe.
As well as the cerebral stimulation, a person can expect their high to include a light bit of physical stimulation as well (showing in your heart-rate) just like a low dose of caffeine may similarly provide. I become anxious fairly quick with Sativas. I've never had a real problem with Jack Herer still, and that's important to realize as I recommend this.
