Finally got around to trying this strain, the crown jewel of Alternative Solutions! LA Chocolat is a very strong indica, taking over the body with an intense euphoria and relaxation. The buds are so resinous they look covered with a silver coat of frost. Taste is amazing, rich and sweet. The effects are very heavy and can cause sedation if already relaxed but aren't so heavy that you couldn't stay awake if you wanted.

Green Love Potion is the name and a green love pot(ion) it is! Perfect strain to enjoy with company. Giggly, emotionally uplifting, physically relaxing, euphoric, and arousing. Couldn't ask for a better mix of effects.

Blackberry Banana OG by Alt Sol is a new indica that is great for sleep. I was very impressed by this moderately-low testing strain. Just another testament to why shopping by THC isn't the best idea. At first Blackberry Banana was just alright - relaxing, laid-back, nothing to write home about - and then the true effects creeped up on me out of nowhere. Suddenly I was almost intoxicatedly high with a very heavy body. Fell asleep shortly after. This strain is great for when you want to wind down and have a little bit of time to handle some things and then pass out. Highly recommend trying this one for sleep. It also tastes great!

Wow! I can't believe I've never reviewed this strain. Gelato Cake has a history of being absolutely amazing at Takoma Wellness Center. The quality of the buds is always top-notch, big or small. Gelato Cake is known for it's deep, dark purple hues and copious trichome production. The aroma from Gelato Cake is rich, sweet, and flowery with berry notes. Smoking this strain is always a pleasure. The terpene profile is so rich and I can really taste everything present in the strain. The sweetness and berry flavors are very pronounced. The effects from Gelato Cake somewhat vary across batches but it is generally a balanced hybrid, leaning a little to the indica side. Gelato Cake induces a strong mental calmness and relaxation, as well as a euphoric, tingly body high. Day or night, Gelato Cake is always a pleasure.

Lotus Head, also known as Snow Lotus is a strong, relaxing indica leaning hybrid. Euphoric, happy, uplifting, creative and relaxing effects. Bright green, frosty, dense buds. Piney and sweet smell and taste.

Sativa leaning hybrid. Great for stress, depression and pain. Strawberry Glue is a strong strain with sociable, cerebral, physically relaxing and emotionally uplifting effects. The buds have a sweet, strawberry-like aroma and flavor that make it really pleasant to smoke or vape.

Hazmat OG is a very strong sativa dominant hybrid with powerful cerebral effects as well as an intense body high. Kush and Chemdawg genetics make this strain a powerhouse. This strain is great for fatigue, depression, stress and pain. Hazmat has an earthy, piney, diesel aroma and flavor.

Bruce Banner 2.0 is a wonderful sativa-dominant hybrid with beautiful, large, purple, frosty buds. The look of Bruce Banner 2.0 is enough to immediately pique your interest. This OG Kush and Strawberry Diesel cross has a sweet, earthy and diesel smell and taste. This strain leans heavily on the sativa side producing happy, euphoric, uplifting and energizing effects. There is also a slight body relaxation effect lending from it's OG Kush side.

Gorilla Glue #1 is a famously potent indica-dominant hybrid. This phenotype of Gorilla Glue is very heavy on the body and produces a body-tingling euphoria that is amazing for pain, stress and depression. This strain is great for experienced patients looking for strong pain relief and can also be helpful with sleep.

Gorilla Glue #4, the original Gorilla Glue, is a very interesting hybrid. Definitely indica dominant overall but brings some very nice heady effects to the table as well. At first I was thrown off by how happy, uplifted and energized I was after trying it. I went into it expecting an immediate heaviness and relaxation similar to Gorilla Glue #1. Eventually those effects came and rocked my body down nice and easy. Highly recommend this strain for those looking for a strong dual experience.

Strawberry Diesel is a great strain for a busy day. This strain has energizing, uplifting and focusing effects. I also find it to be great for creativity. The potency is quite moderate, which is great for those with lower tolerances or for anyone who wants something a little lighter. The smell and taste of the strain lean more towards the sweet, strawberry side than diesel. Overall very pleasant experience.

Tahoe OG. This strain hits like a truck. Pun intended. Super heavy physically. Gives you just enough of a sativa effect to finish what you're doing while you're doing it... but after that find a bed or your body will hit the floor. If you need help sleeping, look no further. If you want your body to melt like you're the Wicked Witch of the West getting splashed with some water, look no further. If the indicas you've been trying haven't been heavy enough for you, try this one out.

Capital City's Girl Scout Cookies is a perfect example of why you don't judge strains by their THC percentage. I found this Girl Scout Cookies better tasting, stronger and longer lasting than it's 28% counterpart. Very relaxing physically while uplifting and stress relieving mentally and emotionally. Let the THC shoppers have the other one. This one is the bomb, if you know you know...

If you're familiar with and enjoy the strain Merry n' Berry then you'll love this one. LSD is a little lighter physically but much more uplifting than it's counterpart. The smell and taste of this strain is sweet and a little earthy. The effects are very stress relieving and good for pain. Slightly indica-dominant, this strain is balanced enough to enjoy throughout the day without any issues.

"I used the entire package of bath salt and bathed for thirty minutes. It dissolved well in the water, and I wasn't able to see or feel the crystals on my skin after getting in which I appreciated. It worked quickly to relieve my abdominal cramps, and I felt noticeably more mellow and relaxed. I was also able to soak for longer than I usually do when I take baths, which I enjoyed. A preroll, edible and bath soak for $18 makes this impossible to turn down. The preroll I got is Axis, which I think is the option for both kits. Axis is great for anxiety and pain so it fits perfectly in this kit. A nice, stress and pain relieving preroll. The 10mg THC Lemon-Ginger lozenge is also really good. Now, I had the one that comes in this kit and another I bought at the same time about an hour before my bath and I was in a very very happy place by the time I got into the tub. After about 5 minutes of being in the tub I started losing all track of time. I must have spent an hour to an hour and a half in the tub, refilling it with hot water and bath salts throughout. I got out feeling like I could levitate. All the soreness and aching in my body was gone and I felt amazing. Highly recommend this to anyone who wants to treat themselves to a relaxing night.

Facewreck Haze is back and it is amazing. The name of the strain hits the nail on the head. Fast acting and intense with a strong euphoria and intoxicating effect. Mood elevating, decreases anxiety. Sweet, minty and citrus flavor and smell.

Lemon Wedding Cake is an amazing cross of Lemon Crush, Kashmir Black and Cake. This tasty, CBD dominant hybrid leans towards the indica side. The lemon crush and cake brings uplifting and euphoric elements to the mix while the kashmir black lineage lends to the strain's full body relaxation and pain relief. Despite having low THC and high CBD, Lemon Wedding Cake is quite strong.

Cactido is a new indica from Liberty. This strain impressed me on sight. The buds are bright green, robust and frosty. Cactido both smells and tastes sweet with a earthy, diesel-like undertone. I found this strain to be very heavy physically, weighing my body down into a deep relaxation. Cactido is great for sleep if already drowsy but not too sedating on its own.

Pineapple Jack is an uplifting, energizing strain great for the beginning of the day. The smell and taste have strong citrus notes and a nice sweetness. This 2:1 CBD:THC strain is mildly psychoactive, creating a clear-minded euphoria that allows for focus and anxiety relief.

From the moment I smelled Pineapple I just knew it was going to be everything I wanted. The smell is amazingly powerful. It's sweet, citrusy and slightly pungent. Pineapple is very uplifting, happy, euphoric and giggly. The strain is slightly indica dominant, maybe 60/40 indica leaning, and the body effects are really strong.

Orangeade is a delicious hybrid. The buds are bright green, frosty, and smell like orange creamsicle. Effects are euphoric and relaxing, making for a nice, balanced hybrid. Orangeade is very strong as well. Smells amazing, tastes amazing, feels amazing. Great strain.

Feels like a year has passed since this was last in stock and man oh man I missed it. Tangie is amazing! The buds are fluffy and bright green with orange all over. The buds have a light, tangerine smell but the real aroma comes out when you break the buds down. The smell and taste is just like tangerines - sweet, a little tart, and very pleasant. Tangie gave me a clear headed, energizing, uplifted, euphoric effect. Amazing strain to start your day with.

I loved this strain! Went through this strain way faster than I usually do. Sweet and sour sherbet has an amazing smell and flavor, very sweet and citrusy. The effects are very upbeat, uplifting, fun and happy. I felt a light relaxation in my body but this strain definitely leans heavily on the sativa side.

Love Sour Diesel. Always a great time in social settings. Very heady, uplifting, energetic and laugh inducing. Buds are sour and diesely as the name suggests. Buds have a strong limonene dominant taste and smell. Packs a punch as usual, having too much can leave you in imagination land.

First time trying this strain and very satisfied. The buds are gorgeous and I had to try this one our after laying eyes on it. Buds are dense and colorful with hues of purple and orange. Sweet smell and taste. Effects are uplifting, heady, euphoric, and produce a nice warm and fuzzy feeling in the chest.

This new concentrate/flower hybrid is very appropriately named Space Dust - a few hits of this will take you there. Essentially a broken down moonrock. Very easy to use, just take it out, pack a bowl and go to space!

The buds are very large, with a peppery and earthy scent. This is a great strain to enjoy in the early evening to wind down after work or have late at night to relax before bed.

District Dream, or Super Blue Dream is my new favorite Blue Dream strain. It has the same great effects that blue dream is known for - anxiety-relieving, anti-depressant, mood-elevating - with an energetic edge from the Haze genetics. District Dream is a great strain to start your morning with or to enjoy a nice peaceful day

Glad I finally got around to trying out this strain. Fruity Pebbles tastes really good. It's sweet, fruity and light. The buds are dense, fluffy and break down very nicely. Fruity Pebbles is a great hybrid that can be enjoyed around the clock. It's emotionally uplifting, physically relaxing, and euphoric. Getting home after work and having a bowl of fruity pebbles to wind down is a great way to enjoy the rest of your night

Valley Girl is a top shelf, very potent and euphoric hybrid. If you're looking for a indica-dominant hybrid that is gonna send you to outer space, Valley Girl is the strain for you. Valley Girl has a pungent, earthy scent that let's you know it's gonna rock your body. The effects are relaxing, but not so relaxing that you'll feel tired, and potent in a way that'll make you forget what you were doing 5 minutes before your first hit.

I don't get headaches often, but after a persistent headache that lasted 3 days, Blue OG was exactly what I needed. The effects relieved the pressure I felt in my head and allowed me to relax in peace. Blue OG is indica-dominant so in addition to it's headache relieving effects, I was able to wind down after work and do everything I needed to do when I got home.

Triple Cherry Diesel is a nice and fairly balanced hybrid. It has very relaxing body effects, coupled with happy and mellow head effects. The potency of this strain is more moderate, making it a great choice for medicating when you need to keep your wits about you.

Sour Diesel is one of my favorite sativa strains and this batch is impressive. The buds are a rich green, very resinous and fluffy. I can tell this batch from District Growers has a lot of limonene in it from the smell. The effects are very uplifting and mood elevating. Sour Diesel is a great enjoying a nice day out, improving your mood, and destressing.

SFV OG Kush is a very relaxing strain that's great for destressing and relieving body pain. The buds have a sweet and skunky smell that reminds me of lemon and pine. This strain has very calming, heavy indica effects and will leave you on the couch spacing out if you aren't careful. A body buzz will start in your lower spine and slowly spread throughout the rest of your body in warming waves, leaving you completely relaxed and slightly sedated.

Green Crack is a great sativa. The buds are fluffy and full of trichomes. It has a sweet aroma and taste. Green Crack is very uplifting, focused, and energetic. It's perfect for getting work done, creative activities, and general daytime use.

This strain is awesome! Legend of Nigeria is a potent strain with classic sativa effects - uplifting, happy, energetic, euphoric, and functional. Legend of Nigeria is perfect for sativa lovers with higher tolerances. It'll put you in a great mood and get you on your feet to get things done. It's great for socializing as well.

Maui Waui is a clear headed, happy, uplifting, and energetic sativa. The buds are dark green and produce sweet, smooth vapor. It's effects are moderate and pleasant, so it's a great strain for people with high and low tolerances. Perfect daytime strain.

I really enjoyed Purple Pineapple Kush. I had high expectations knowing it's bred from Pineapple Express, Granddaddy Purple and Master Kush, and I was very satisfied. The buds have a sweet aroma and the vapor it produces is sweet and taste like berries or grapes. Purple Pineapple Kush is very physically relaxing, emotionally uplifting, comforting and foggy. It's perfect for the early evening or winding down after a long day.

Chemdawg is STRRRRONG. The buds are light green and very resinous. Like the name implies, it smells and tastes chemically. Heed the warning in the description "Chemdawg tends to be very potent. Depending on grow conditions, this strain tends to have THC levels of 15-20%. Consumers can expect to have a very cerebral experience, coupled with a strong heavy-bodied feeling." This batch is 26.4% so you're in for a ride!

Kashmir Black is an amazing hybrid. It's potent and great for inflammation and body pain. It hits for a very long time and produces very smooth smoke and vapor. The description hits the nail on the head - Kashmir Black #3 expresses a very functional terpene entourage that delivers feelings of comfort, calm, and genuine inspiration. Its aroma is woody with a hint of citrus, while both its smoke and vapor are smooth and spicy. Because of its exceptional potency, Black #3 is quite effective in small doses. As the dose escalates, Black #3 becomes profound, as every sensory input becomes riveting.

If you love dark chocolate, you'll love the raw cacao squares. They're rich, delicious and there's not even a hint of cannabis in the taste. The effects are very soothing, comforting, and relaxing. Master Kush was a great strain to use for indica chocolates. I eat one a few hours before bed and always have a great night's sleep.

Kushzilla is a potent and balanced hybrid. The buds are dense and very resinous. It is very euphoric and relaxing with a slight crash after a long-lasting high. Kushzilla is great for daytime and nighttime use.

Hawaiian Trainwreck is a relaxing sativa that will give you a happy, vacation feeling. Mentally stimulating and creative at low doses but not so focused at higher doses, this bud is great for a relaxing day. The light green, crystalline buds have a sweet smell and taste that is not super potent but will bring to mind fresh tropical fruit.

After trying Granddaddy Purple by Capital City Cultivation for the first time, it's immediately established itself as one of my favorite indica strains. The buds are nice and fluffy with a sweet, berry smell. The flavor follows suit with strong notes of grape and berry. At 18.3% THC, Granddaddy Purple is a moderately strong strain. It's effects are very peaceful, mentally and physically relaxing and mellow. It also great for pain and got rid of a painful cramp in my upper back. Unlike many indica strains, Granddaddy Purple won't keep you locked on the couch or make you melt into your bed but it may give you a nice case of the munchies.
