Platinum Jack

Tried Platinum Jack primarily because of it's stand-out potency of 30.1% THC and .8% CBD to somewhat test the figures given for potency relative to a 26% THC, .89% CBD flower and YES there's a difference! This is the flower for daytime if your resistance is up due to not taking a holiday or break from using cannabis for a while. Alert, clear headed and working, taking pictures, downloading them for this review, etc. and I'm impressed with the power of PJ.

I must say though that the picture in the menu showing a PJ frosted bud isn't even close to what I picked up after ordering on line. I was expecting something platinum or blond but indeed the pill bottle labeled PJ has flowers with green shades & reddish hairs-look at the photo I uploaded for you which was taken with a flash. Is there really that much difference in appearance within the same flower type?

My price paid at the front desk of $105 was also lower than the $120 quoted in your menu and on my emails for 1/8 each of both PJ and Blue Diamond, I thought perhaps there was a promotion I wasn't aware of or did I perhaps get the wrong flowers?

Hi- Rest assured you got the right flowers :) The quote you get by email is generated automatically because the system doesn't allow for discounts. When you arrive is when we adjust the price and apply the discount. Since you got a combo of Blue Diamond + Platinum Jack, it was adjusted correctly. Sorry for the confusion!

Very, very impressive dispensary that has been so 5 stars on each of three visits I can't think of anything they could do better. Very knowledgable, capable and friendly girl at the front desk. Knowledgable staff that's very down to earth with just the right variety of accessories and the only one I've found that has THC & CBD potency listed for every flower product in stock and on it's web site. Ordering on line is easy and every time upon pick up I was warmly greeted by the receptionist who has your meds right there and can facilitate you getting in and out in a minute or less. Located on the first floor of a recently refurbished and beautiful old mansion on The Alameda that reflects the class of the operation inside.

I'm a very harsh critic and could walk a few blocks from my home to another dispensary but they can't hold a candle to Amsterdam's Garden so I rather drive a few miles. Their products, service and facility are so great you'll want to turn on your friends and I swear they didn't pay me anything to be so kind, just being honest.

This product lives up to it's potency and lasts but you just might be tempted to keep bumping it up because you'll be glad you did. Beautiful flowers are works of art and represent well the very well cured and tasty smoke and undeniable effects that give you lots of respect for whomever grew these.

Selected simply by it's significant THC & CBD content I was very pleased with the solid, intense yet happy feeling. Slight delayed reaction prior to a proper buzz that made me proud of choosing this variety that proves it's potency. Toke 3 times, put it down, feel what I mean then look at that happy face in the mirror!
