So every time I have been there I spent a good amount. I guess my average would be about 500 a visit. I will give them this they do have a lot of traffic. However I think they are so in tune to that get people and get people out type of training that when I was there and there was maybe two other customers they were still rushing us in the middle of the day?? It’s weird because you have these moments when you talk to employees & you feel like they’re giving you all their attention and they’re being so polite. But those moments last for literally a minute tops and then they very quickly want you to make your decision and get the hell on. To the point that if you’re in there asking questions and looking at Bud’s they will tell you that you have taken too long and please just order outside in the Summer sun by filling it out on a menu or phone/tablet. This bothered me because I have questions and I ALWAYS WILL!! if I was in any other store spending hundreds, I would be extremely offended if they said…Eh, it’s been more than five minutes can you please go outside and make your selection on your phone & just tell us when you’re done.

Quite honestly it brought back bad feelings of buying drugs on the street. I was irritated and felt disrespected and I wanted to really say something nasty & just leave. But I got the feeling that no one would stop me from walking away to apologize. Did they get enough people coming and going that they just really don’t care to make per each person feel appreciated and welcome.

So it left me with that same old feeling of resentment are used to get with the D boy that I would spend 500 with and he would talk to me like crap but he had what I wanted so I had no choice but deal with it. It’s ironic because cannabis is what helped me get away from those addictive harmful drugs and now I’m getting feelings like that resurrected when I’m buying medicine in a brick and mortar store. And what breaks my heart is that I love Takoma Wellness!!

Look, this took place at the end of June 2021. There was no line & I made a point to carry my vaccination card & of course wear my mask & keep a 6ft distance. So I just wanna be clear if the gut check reaction is well Covid. I get it but I have a certain point if the person is asking questions and the bill is just increasing and increasing. Who knows I might have spent $1000 if they would’ve let me to stay there and finish asking what I was trying to.

So they have a wonderful selection most of the people that work there have a really good vibe. But there is a very pushy hurried feeling there that I just cannot get over. Please give them a chance you’ll be happy with their flower hopefully they will see this and work on it before my next visit. So we can all continue to enjoy Takoma Wellness

Wow!!! What can I say. Everything about this purchase is a wow factor. From the aesthetically pleasing brown jar & simple & elegant design. To their inner cover for sealing freshness. When I opened this, the smell engulfed the entire room. I pulled a bright sticky bud out with chop sticks. As you break it open, there is no shortage of sticky trichomes here. My first inhale, the taste had a deep earthy feel that changes in seconds to a very pleasant gassy exhale that you feel yourself levitating off the couch a bit more on each drawl. If I knew how wonderful this was going to be; I would have bought a few more jars. I never thought I would happily pay nearly $60 an eighth. But this is quite possibly the best herb I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve been hunting down OG Kush for a while. This is the best I have found on the East Coast. If you run across this yourself a favor and get it :)
