Will hit you in your head like a ton of bricks

Despite this hash having a very sad cannabinoid profile (I've seen better numbers on sage flower) the power of this bubble hash will astound. I'm not into sage flower. I don't care for the taste much and it leaves me feeling blunted, and not in a good way. The hashish made from it on the other hand is a horse of a different color altogether.
"Nobody really smokes hash for the taste" was my opinion before this bubble burst that bubble. This has to be hands down the best tasting hash I have had from CCC, and the feeling from it will make you question the testing methods used. A warning for the uninitiated; be sitting down when you enjoy this awesome hashish. The first toke goes straight to the head and after the exhale and you are done coughing the only thing that can be said is wow.

Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn and cauldron BUBBLE!

After one Toke I had to re-write my review. This hashish doesn't bubble; it boils. Make sure you are putting it on top of bud or using a pipe with a screen, because if you don't it will run into the bowl. S.A.G.E. was the top contender for best hash at ccc in my opinion, but now this lovely hashish has taken its place.

Will put a smile on your face

The taste and smell of this lady is sweet, but they aren't very strong. Pure sativa high. It helped my depression, but didn't do much for pain. The price is also a bit high. We shouldn't pay more than 20 a gram for buds grown by Capital City Cultivation. If it came from Holistic Remedies or District Growers than OK, but the reason many people chose CCC is that they offer better prices than the others. Please don't get greedy CCC!

Update: The only thing higher is the price

Everything we love about this lady supercharged into a lean mean burning machine! The lemon pledge taste has greatly been toned down to a more lemon and pine taste. And the cough isn't nearly as bad as say Master Kush Hash. Clear your schedule for a few hours because your mind will be going places your body can not follow. I found that for myself the OG hash works better then the OG flower for pain and all the great psychological benefits of the flower have been amplified. If your are a beginning patient be warned the fire might burn you and know telling what you will see when you peer into the flames.
Update: No doubt this hash is good, but should we stand for the price of hash going up $10 a gram from less than a year ago? I highly doubt they discovered a new way of making it that justifies a $10 increase in sale price.

recreational use recommended not medicinal

I write this while smoking some jack herer. I had to return to the wonderful world of capital city care to purchase said jack because the oil cartridge I procured on the previously day had ran dry. The oil cartridge worked great at getting me really really buzzed, but so does beer. Don't get it twisted I love high thc levels but I found that the oil was missing whatever mixture of canabinoids that works on a medicinal level for my person. I have had the same problem with the tinctures. God gave us the flower and maybe it's hubris for man to try to improve on such a perfect creation with mechanical extractions. Plus the price I paid for the cartridge would have bought me five days worth of flower. Live learn then go back to nature.

Like Fruity Pebbles and Cartoons

Jack smells and tastes like Fruity Pebbles cereal. It brought me back to those Saturday morning cartoon days. I decided to watch a few Pinky and The Brain episodes with my good buddy Jack Herer and realized the profound nature of the show. My whole conceptualization of existence has been forever altered by Pinky and The Brain and Jack Herer. Jack is that good!

Proof of what District Growers has to offer

I hear people whine about the lack of District Growers strains while in the lobby constantly. Another rumor that has been going around is that "weed" found on the streets is as good as the Cannabis grown for the legal medical market. If Buffalo Soldier and strains from Holistic Remedies make up the majority of the sample pool than I can understand the misguided beliefs. Don't get me wrong Buffalo Soldier has great potential. Obviously District Growers and Holistic Remedies have been working hard to turn out enough crops to feed the needy people of DC, but at the cost of a quality product. A little more time and flushing would make them stellar.
People only think that legal cannabis is as good as "weed" on the streets because the only people who get the best are those who can get Capital City Cultivation plants. District Growers and Holistic Remedies need to take a few lessons from the masters at CCC. These great strains would see their full potential at that point! If less variety means higher quality than so be it.
Cannabinoid Profile: THC 13%, CBD 3%, CBG 9%, CBN 4%

Finally some quality bud from Holistic Remedies!

She has a spicy taste like Mazar but strong cerebral effects like skunk #1. I don't know if it was just cold outside but after two tokes I started to dance along with the dope beat in my head to keep warm. I was warmer and I made some new friends after I told them the spirit of America's Mayor was flowing through my mind and body. The only thing stopeing MNB from getting five stars is the same problem Holistic Remedies has with everything I have sampled; they don't flush their ladies enough to bring out their full essence. They are getting better and once the base demand is filled the growers should focus on perfecting their craft. My faith in Holistic Remedies has been restored!
BTW I have to thank the growers for taking the high road and renaming the strain LSD to Merry N' Berry (America's Mayor) rather than choosing to grow Green Crack and calling it that. All though some Green Crack would be perfect when spring rolls around. They can name that after the Canadian Mayor.

Better have Lungs of Steel

I topped a bowl of blue dream and Merry N Berry with a few pieces of this hash and I swear to God America's mayor descended from above to spark me up after the first hit went out. Good lookin out Mr. Mayor.
On the down side Capital City Cultivation needs to work on getting more of the plant material out. Good bubble hash isn't as dark as this and that's where the lungs of steel come in hand. The cough is harsh.

Holistic Remedies needs to step up their game

The Blue Dream grown by Holistic Remedies doesn't even come close to the quality of the girl grown by the loving hands of Capital City Cultivation. Maybe Holistic gives their best buds to Takoma Wellness, but that begs the question of what are they doing wrong to have crops turn out so differently? CCC=AAA+ Buds!

I'm not mad, just disappointed.

Capital City Cultivation grows the best Blue Dream and Master Kush, but this Bubble Gum is like their ugly deformed cousin that they keep locked in the basement. Why oh why did they let her out. She is terrorizing the people of DC and wrecking the overall quality of Capital City Cultivation's catalogue.
UPDATE : The current batch has earned an extra star. It is most definitely an improvement over the past.

Capital City Care

Best Part of the Week

I always look forward to my trip to CCC, it's like a second home. The staff there are awesome. I dropped my purchase on the way back to the metro station. Scott tried to help me locate it, even going as far as looking outside in the snow for me. Sadly, we did not find it (it would have been a miracle if we had) but Capital City Care has earned a customer for life.
I love how they now have the growers listed, and from my limited sampling their cultivation center grows slightly better buds than the other two. Their Master Kush and Fire OG are spectacular.

Gets the Job Done

Sage is a hit or miss. Some batches come out great, some don't. The smell and taste are a bit of a novelty, but after smoking nothing but it for a few days I find myself longing for a more traditional toke. This phenotype has less of a smell and taste along with fewer crystals than the regular Sage. The red variety in my opinion leans more towards the indica side of the spectrum, while the regular is more balanced. Not bad for the sale price, but not worth much more.

Pure Relaxation

The batch I had was a beautiful dark purple that dripped with trichomes. Definitely a strong body stone that cured all the aches and pains of the day. I was locked to the couch while my mind floated high in the sky. I imagine heaven smells and tastes like Master Kush.

This Blue Dream Blew My Pain Away

The particular batch I purchased tested at 22% THC, 1% CBD and 16% CBG. The taste was on the haze side, but with a subtle berry undertone. After one toke my eyes bugged out, and the smile across my face showed pure contentment. Some extra love was put into this lady!

Not worth it

This was my first and probably last tincture. A pure indica might have been better, but unless the price is lowered to $20 I will not brave the burn again. It was kind of like drinking grass soaked vodka.

Needs to be called Fire O.M.G.

The batch I picked up today is hands down the best Fire OG I have had from CCC. Their cultivation center keeps turning out tastier and tastier buds. When it comes to the Fire OG, Blue Dream and Master Kush CCC can't be beat.
