The Republican-run House of Representatives in Montana voted 63-37 to overturn the state's medical marijuana law on Thursday, and the likewise Republican-run State Senate is expected to do the same where they have a 28-22 majority.

This is something patients in all states should be watching very closely. The elected politicians of Montana trying to take safe access away from the people of Montana who voted for it by a 62% majority. And the politicians reasoning for repealing the law is mostly a result of their own failure to regulate the industry.

Miraculously, the law was not repealed. However, 20+ MT dispensaries were raided by the DEA yesterday, so perhaps the conservatives in office are trying other tactics to shutdown the shops.
