I have registered to vote (you still have time) and I will be voting YES on Prop 19 to regulate, tax, and control cannabis in 2010 in California. I hope my friends in the medical cannabis community can feel confident that if they vote yes, they will continue to enjoy the same level of freedom to acquire and ingest their medical marijuana as they do today. Patients remain protected under the law, and should enjoy even greater freedom as law enforcement shifts their focus away from marijuana towards violent crime and property crime. Our brothers and sisters who choose to use marijuana to enhance their lives with cannabis or to enjoy marijuana recreationally should also be free from fear of arrest, prosecution, incarceration, asset forfeiture, bans on federal student aid, and other unnecessary punishments which are far more damaging to an individual's life than marijuana ever could be. Society has already advanced in leaps and bounds of understanding simply because the issue is on the ballot and is a daily part of our national news in the United States. Jack Herer's son supports Prop 19. L.E.A.P., Law Enforcement Against Prohibition supports a Yes vote on Prop 19. Please register to vote today! http://yeson19.com/vote

Good idea, great implications, but it was poorly written. Even Gob'ner Terminator said he has no problem with someone smoking, and he also agreed that it could help the state, but it was very poorly written. The turn out was pretty good though and I think this will have another chance some day. They really need to look at how it is portrayed though.
