So a grower mentioned to me last week that they had a spider mite issue and had no choice but to spray late in the game. Despite this, the buds made it to the shelves. At that moment it occurred to me that they're likely not an anomaly and given the stakes many growers may have to take less than ideal measures to ensure their crop makes it to market.

It hadn't really occurred to me that now more than ever we may be unknowingly subjected to chemicals, metals, etc. and that the "certified organic" stamp is yet to make its way to MMJ.

Anyone have any insight or suggestions as to how we can become better informed as to what we're putting into our bodies and what we may be getting exposed too?
