How can I bring my medical marijuana from California to NYC

I have epilepsy and marijuana is my medication. It works and I can soundly sleep without the fear of a seizure. My seizures are not typical they do not occur during the day they only happen when I'm very tired and I go to bed without smoking I've probably never had a seizure during the day. However night time is different and that's why indica is perfect for me bc it puts me to sleep without any fears. I'm from California obviously medical marijuana is legal here and I have my card. However I want to go to New York and when I travel road trips or whatnot I usually take my cannabis oil pen which doesn't look or even smell like marijuana and I want to know if I could pass airport inspection with it . I don't want to risk it so if there's consents or documents I could process that would be great. I am just unknown to new York policies and airport . Anyone got suggestions or advice ?

Take an ounce. Double bag it. Put it in your butt. Take it out in New York and smoke like a king. Works with guns too.

I've actually had a friend successfully take a small amount wrapped in plastic and put it at the center of a mound of silly putty in a plastic egg. It worked for him but I myself wouldn't risk it.
