Hey everybody,

I just relocated to CA from another state for work and am considering obtaining a medical card to help treat some issues I've been dealing with for many years using traditional pharmaceuticals. I haven't used cannabis in 25 years so I'm a little nervous but I think it's worth trying.

On to the good problem to have. My employer is helping with the relocation and as part of the deal has put me up in corporate housing. I'm likely to remain in corporate housing until the spring, which is awesome, but as a consequence I won't be receiving any of the typical 'proof of residency' mail that most Dr's seem to require. I do have some paperwork from my retirement program that has been mailed to my home address in San Jose, but that's it. I won't be receiving any bills and I don't have a lease.

Any thoughts? Is it possible the mail I do have (for my 401k investment account) would be sufficient?

Thanks!

Rijk

Well ..... you're simply not a California resident any way you slice it. You're best bet is to befriend a card carrier and have them get the meds for you.
