Calming Sunflower

I have always been aware of terpenoids amongst cannabis plants but never really sought out the different types and effects. I decided to give the Sunflower line by Abatin a try. The fragrance has a strong, sweet smell that is both herbal and slightly citric. "Ocimene is among the rarer and more powerful terpenes — creating a steady and calm uplift that doesn't overwhelm or overpower." I can definitely agree with Abatin's description because this bud made me feel so calm. MATTER of fact... Super Calm. The uplifting effects aided me with my anxiety when I was alone but the calming effects also helped me at different social functions. Overall, someone like me who naturally has a racy mind and looking for some calm vibes; this is the flower for you.

If you are looking for a great start to your day that won't be to heady then this is the perfect strain.With a vibrant feel combined with a mellow body vibe made this a great choice for going out with friends and family or to sit down and get some work done.It has a great flavor and aroma that have notes of pepper and a deep earthiness while still being lite.

My After Work Stress Reliever

I love the Sunflower Black . Not only for the wonderful price that TWC has it at but for the effects that I feel from the Sunflower products . Beta-caryophyllene is a common and often abundant terpene found in cannabis. Its distinctive flavor contributes to the spiciness of black pepper and can be found in high amounts in cloves, hops, and rosemary. A Nice Mixer

Sunflower Black is perfectly capable of holding its own as a strain but I usually mix it with some of my favorites. This strain relaxes the mind and body for a great overall experience. If you want to feel calm, creative and relaxed this is the strain for you. My favorite mixes with this strain are Silver Kush, Sunflower Yellow, Blue Dream and Polynesian Thin Mint.

GERD Relief

If you live with GERD, waking up in the middle of the night with heartburn is very common. On top of the high levels of inflammation that result from heartburn, it disrupts my sleep. Sunflower Black helps soothe my GERD symptoms - it actually gets rid of them - so I'm able to go back to sleep without taking pills. The woody smell tickles your nostrils immediately when you open the bag. It's very fragrant and tasty.

Kashmir Black's Younger Cousin

Sunflower Black is an overall awesome strain. If you have been hesitant on trying Kashmir Black, this is an excellent first step toward that strain. Like Kashmir black, Sunflower Black is choc full of the terpine caryophyllene, which is excellent for defense against pain, inflammation as well as cancer! What makes this strain even better is that it is super strong, even hybrid that can be smoked any time of the day with no sleepy crash or without heavy handed energy. Additionally, the effects are very long lasting and powerful. The flavor and smell is very woody and spicy that may be slightly off putting to those who prefer sweet or citrus flavored flowers. Aside from that, this is perhaps the best deal at TWC!

Numb Body

Sunflower Black has a light amount of the not so common headband effect, which provides it with an indica feel. Being that it is Caryophyllene dominant, there is a strong body effect and it's great for pain. I would recommend it in particular to those who favor indicas and like body effects.

Potency = 9.5

Effects = some compacting, some head numbing, and body numbing

Ideal for: great for physical pain, some help with physical brain conditions, and some help with stress
