Our Sour Patch Kids are an even hybrid, the offspring of Candyland and Sour Diesel (strain info on some sites lists it as Sour Diesel x Sour OG Kush, but we're certain ours is the Candyland cross). The strain's high is unusual, considering the strong Sativa lineage--there's the typical cerebral effects but they're matched by a wonderful heaviness--the body high will have you heading for the couch, though you won't be knocked out.

The buds are stunning; they're dark green with hints of lavender, totally covered in frosty trichomes, and a sweet diesel aroma. The flavor is mild, smooth and tasty with a hint of spicy bite.

The high begins with the uplifting, clearheaded euphoria common to Sour Diesel, and gradually melts into a creative, relaxed stony feeling. There's a surprising bit of knockback, but this means a ton of body relaxation to match the stress relief from the mental side of the high. The strain is just a bit dreamy too, making it ideal for daytime lounging or artistic pursuits.
