Afgoo

Appearance:
Medium and light green leaves coated with white frosty trichomes that are quite beautiful under magnification. Burnt-orange hairs interspersed among the leaves.

Aroma:
Light, sweet, sugary candy scent reminiscent of the Goo parent.

Smoke:
First, the nugget that was sampled was so resinous that it was sticky to the touch and left a kief circle on the finger. Small scissors and tweezers are highly recommended for preparing the flowers so as not to lose too much kief. The smoke was lightly harsh and extremely expansive, like good bubble hash or oil/wax. Even though the nugget was well-cured and low in moisture, the bowl seemed to go on forever due to the highly resinous nature of the strain.

Taste:
Like the aroma, the taste favored the sweet sugary Goo parent, with a lingering tingle on the tip of the tongue that immediately brought cotton candy and childhood to mind.

Effects:
Even after a long day of medicating on potent sativas and hybrids, this strain still managed to have immediate and noticeable effects favoring traditional indicas. The edginess from the sativas and being on the go all day slowly dissipated from the first hit on, just like the thick cloud of smoke filling the room. Joint and muscle pain quickly numbed to a distant afterthought, and all the day's worries slipped away from the anti-anxiety effects of the medicine. Though the couch enveloped all desires to continue the breakneck pace of the day, motor skills were still functioning and mental abilities weren't debilitated; work or physical activity were still possible if necessary, and communication wasn't limited to fits of euphoric laughter. Appetite was restored, though a normal portion of dinner plus dessert sufficed, though eating more food was definitely possible but not a munchied-out necessity. After dinner, a second bowl made listening to the warm sound of a needle on vinyl the most important concern, and a third brought a reminder that sleep is always a welcome friend.

Overall, this is highly recommended for chilling at home and catching up on leisure time, though if sativas are to be avoided, this could very well function as a daytime indica, though caution must be used not to overdue it as this is a very potent strain.
